Outside
Natural 'Fynbos' garden separating barbecue area and pool. Extensive lawn and sand pits for children. Fynbos is the natural grass ground cover indigenous to the region. The winter climate is usually mild and rather pleasant, similar to the English summer.
Coast/Beach
2 private beaches are accessible for sun bathing and fishing. Swimming is not recommended from these beaches because of strong currents and the rough nature of the shore line reaching deep into the Indian ocean. Various alternative swimming options are available for those keen on bathing in the sea at neighbouring Mossel Bay and Dana Bay.
Golf
The Golf Lodge is located on Pinnacle Point Golf Estate, also in close proximity to famous South African Garden Route courses e.g. Pezula, Oubaai, Fancourt, Mossel Bay and George Country Club.
Further details
Mossel Bay and surrounds are scenic as well as safe. Various cost effective restaurants are available within driving distance. The restaurant at Garden Route Hotel and Casino offers excellent meals and affordable prices. Shopping for food and drink is a few minutes drive from the lodge for guests preferring the self catering option.
