The Seychelles, a small island nation in the Indian Ocean, is vulnerable to the impacts of global warming. Some of the effects include:
Rising sea levels: The rise in sea levels due to melting polar ice caps is a major concern for the Seychelles, as it threatens the country's low-lying coastal areas.
Coral bleaching: The increase in ocean temperatures is causing coral bleaching, which is harmful to the country's coral reefs and the marine life that depend on them.
Decreased fish populations: The changing ocean temperatures and acidification are impacting the distribution and abundance of fish species, potentially reducing the country's important fishing industry.
Increased frequency and severity of natural disasters: The Seychelles is also at risk of increased frequency and severity of natural disasters, such as hurricanes and typhoons, as a result of global warming.
Changes in precipitation patterns: Global warming is also affecting the precipitation patterns in the Seychelles, leading to water scarcity and affecting agriculture and food security.

The fallen tree makes a beautiful feature but it's also a manifestation of rising sea levels. Trees don't grow in seawater neither bare their roots.
